I really like a sun selfie when it’s done right, if that makes sense... clear and flawless skin that’s all about the highlight and probably good af editing. I still go for my monochromatic feel because warmer photos are kinda gross to me and being in the sun really gives away my true skin tone as oppose to my usual satisfaction in studio lighting. Like, I was reviewing my previous selfies and they are super filtered to the point of my looking pale. Lol, I don’t want that. So, I’m in a new building that provides a rooftop level where the sun comes directly through the window, happily keeping my beauty game on point. Not sure why I’ve noticed how scarce my social media engagement is but, I honestly don’t care to have the attention of those who are not going to share or add-to my work. I’ve been blogging for years. I see comments and I get asked tons of questions but, it’s just stupid. I only really value my friends and the brands who literally showcase me; David’s Bridal and Eats By Chloe hit me up this season along with likes (and comments) from a few verified users like Zac Posen, whom I love. It’s cool. I like the whole idea of being low-key and still acknowledged. I know it’ll work its way up to a more public setting where bigger opportunities will reach me but in the meantime, follow me on Twitter.
