4 Coats I Designed
One of a kind by yours truly.
The idea behind this piece was that it was going to look provocative. Red being representative of passion and blood while the khaki colored fabric is portraying the human flesh; it's about having a sense of renewal and self awareness.
I did not purchase this jacket with the intent on destroying it, however, this is a heavy winter coat and it does, in fact, leave quite the impression against crisp white snow. Purple dominated most of the random design even though I opted for a structural pattern in key areas sampling with green and yellow streaks.
This was the first coat I designed without putting much thought into it, although, I knew the result was going to be colorful and dignifying.
I remember procrastinating between red and blue and the ability to be unchoosy like the Gemini I am. This process became it's own thing and the design truly began to develop a mind of its own. Interestingly enough, this piece is the most personable and well connected.
